Prepare your body for the summer


Summer is almost here and that means for many of us, outdoor plans, travel and exposure to changes in temperature. However, we still have time to prepare our body for it.

We share some tips to help you prepare your body.

Skin: during this time of year our skin is more exposed  to the sun so preparing it is essential.  A few things that can help:

  • Dry brushing: a very effective technique used to exfoliate our skin. It is done on dry skin rubbing a brush with coarse, natural-fiber bristles  in a particular pattern. The idea is that the coarse fibers will help to remove dead skin and improve the skin’s ability to eliminate toxins through the pores. This technique has its origins in traditional Indian medicine. It is important to remember that the skin must be completely clean, without any type of creams or products, and dry.
  • Body oils: hydration is essential to keep our skin healthy and beautiful. Some body oils specialize in hydrating, others in softening, and others in protecting.
